This scrumptious and unusually delightful wine goes exceptionally well with grilled lamb or pork, sautéed asparagus and curried deviled eggs. Also fab with rack of lamb, duck confit are steak tartare. -
The nose is lifted with bramble fruit and spicy oak. The palate is plush and full bodied, rich with blackcurrants, dark cherry and chocolate, with developing notes of dried currants, aged leather and tobacco. This is a big wine with plenty of mouth coating, yet fine tannins with the new oak on show. The velvety yet firm tanins make this a great match for game meats or beef. Would also pair excellently with a fabulously curated cheeseboard. -

Corona Extra is a pale lager produced by Mexican brewery Cervecería Modelo and owned by Belgian company AB InBev. This light, dry beer has pleasant malt and hop notes with a round dry finish. Corona is best served ice cold, with a wedge of lime that complements its flavour. -
Striking nose of beautifully ripe pear and melon for the sauvignon blanc grape with the only vegetal element being a hint of spring meadows. On the medium-bodied palate this is succulent and creamy, but not a jot opulent, much less heavy with a silky acidity that caresses your palate at the very long clean finish. -
