Bacardi Carta Negra Rum, named ‘negra’ from the Spanish word for ‘black’, is produced in Puerto Rico and is a blend of molasses-based rums. The rums are aged for up to 4 years in heavily charred oak barrels before being filtered through charcoal. Bacardi Carta Negra is rich and full-bodied on the palate, bringing flavours of molasses, coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate. The finish is slightly bitter, with liquorice and spicy black pepper notes.
