Chateau Ducru- Beaucaillou is located on the edge of the Gironde estuary. This Saint-Julien is one of the greatest symbols of the Medoc. This 2014 is 90% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 10% Merlot.

The wine displays a deep garnet colour. The nose reveals a truly refines bouquet, typical of this wine, composed of cedar notes on attack. The 2014 Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou then develops on pepper aromas enhanced by vanilla hints. On aeration, fine spices with blackcurrant notes appear. On the palate, this Saint-Julien is lush with good grained tannins and much binder. The wine offers good freshness and great purity. The finish possesses exceptional persistence and wonderful elegance.
