Vista Flores is a tiny appellation in Mendoza, super high up 1150 metres above sea level. Long sunny days ripen grapes to concentration, while the cool nights high in the mountains and the alluvial limestone soils retain refreshing acidity.
There’s a lick of malolactic fermentation (a slight buttery / creamy acidity that you see in some richer whites), but the fresh orchard fruit and steely minerality takes dominance over this wine. Refreshing and refined, this is very much old world in style.
